Our Affiliate Network

FSEAP Vancouver maintains an affiliate network of highly qualified and experienced providers who deliver a range of clinical and work life services to employees and their family members. FSEAP’s network includes over 200 specialists that include individual providers, group practices and agencies across B.C and the Yukon Territory. Our Affiliate Counsellors all hold a Master or Doctorate degree in psychology, counselling psychology or social work, have a minimum of three to five years clinical experience and are registered with a provincial professional registering body. They are experienced in their fields and skilled in providing assessment, crisis intervention, short-term counselling and community resource referral to employees and their family members.  

All FSEAP Affiliate Counsellors must meet the following criteria: 

  • Holds a Master degree in a clinical field (e.g., social sciences, education, health sciences, psychology, counselling).
  • Maintain Professional Registration: Membership in a professional regulatory body (e.g., RCC, RSW, CCC, or RPysch, etc.)
  • Carries Professional Liability Insurance (minimum of $2,000,000 per occurrence and
    $5,000,000 aggregate).
  • Superior clinical skills, including significant understanding of of a wide range of mental health and substance abuse challenges.
  • Deliver short-term, brief therapy and referral services within an EAP framework. Manage and maintain professional clinical records with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant local community resources to facilitate longer term client support.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in learning to navigate an online portal (e.g., file management system) as required.
